Mountain View At Norris Lake

Mountain View is a beautiful lakefront villa that sits right on the banks of Norris Lake. Surrounded by the foothills of the majestic Smoky Mountains, unspoiled wildlife preserve and the pristine lake, you couldn’t ask for a more idyllic setting. Enjoy all of the benefits of a lakefront vacation – swimming, boating, water skiing, jet skiing and fishing. Norris Lake is a fisherman’s dream with more than 56 species of fish.

With 5 bedrooms and 4 floors, this lovely home is designed with all of the warmth and charm you could ever want. Mountain View’s spacious floor plan sleeps 16 -- making it the perfect spot for a multiple family vacation or special retreat. Highlights include high vaulted ceilings, a full range of amenities and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer spectacular views of the lake.

This home sits atop a hill, which gives it a remarkable view of the lake, as you can see from the pictures. This home has ample parking for 8 cars or more and is only ½ mile from the marina where you can pull your boat up to the dock and close to the trailer storage and road. This wonderful view from far above the lake comes with a larger number of steps to the lake than our other homes. The price for the Mountainview is set $100 lower to compensate for the 200 steps to the lake.

The Main Floor

The main floor includes a kitchen, a dining room, a comfortable great room with a flat panel HD TV and DVD player, 1 ½ baths and the master bedroom which has a king bed and a private master bath.

Second Floor

Mountain View’s second floor has two bedrooms -- one with a queen bed and one with two sets of full bunk beds (sleeps 8) and 1 full size bed. They share a Jack-n-Jill bathroom.

Third Floor

The third floor is actually a small loft that is the ideal children’s bedroom with privacy and 2 twin mattresses on the floor. This might be considered a fifth bedroom, but we consider it a plus for this 4 bedroom home. See the pictures for the ladder that leads to this loft.

Lower Level

The lower level features a family room with an HD TV and DVD player, a full bathroom, and a bedroom with two full bunk beds (sleeps 8). The couch in the family room is a double hide-a-bed. There is also an Air Hockey game table.
